EDUCATION
Autumn 2015, I started studying Industrial Engineering at Western Norway University of Applied Science.
The education emphasises mechanical subjects, production and processing, innovation and product development, marketing,
logistics, and maintenance. I found the CAD- and technical courses the most giving. Therefore,
I proceeded to take a masters degree in Engineering Design.
The degree focuses on Product design and design process, strength calculation and Material technology,
and has given a solid foundation for working with different kind of materials, provided a broader knowledge of creative
processes, and given better analytical skills. It was during the masters I found that my interest lies in
product development, optimisation and design.
Modelling
During the course of my education, i have learned Parametric Modelling. I have experience with both PTC Creo and Inventor, and used the latter frequently during my master thesis.
Analysis
I have experience with numerical programs (ANSYS). I enjoy understanding why things work and how design changes affect a product.
Design
Experience with design methods within the segments of product, engineering, and industrial design. In addition, knowledge of industrial design regarding design, ergonomics, aesthetics and market strategic design. Use of CAD and rapid prototyping.
Programming
Currently, I am working on my programming skills. Mainly this involves working with Python, but I also enjoy HTML / CSS
